Artist Statement
The technique of my abstract work emerged from my figurative painting, where I use image transfer on paper on canvas but in this case without image, taking advantage of those effects so characteristic of the work that creates the transferred paper on the plaster that when removed creates those ripples, reliefs and holes. Inspired by Mother Nature, his harmonic colors, not very saturated, such as blues, grays and earths, represent the sea, the sky and the earth, achieving an abstract work in which the roughness and texture speak for themselves.
